The switch to the new motor vehicle registration system has had some major hiccups. We must be accountable that doing the same thing we have been doing isn’t working. We must reevaluate our process to adjust for the new system, thereby shortening wait and processing times. We must be accountable for the security of our systems. Making sure we safe guard them from cyber attacks And be open and honest when breaches happen.

Currently we have 8 offices. I want to expand and place an office close to the I-264 corridor. Louisville is a collective of many cultures. The clerk's office must be able to work with all residents.. We must increase the number of translators and our offering of information to multiple languages.

The clerk's office maintains legal records, manages vehicle registrations, and coordinates and certifies our elections. Many citizens don’t know what we do and how we serve. That must change. As required by law, every polling location has an accessibility machine to help those with disabilities voter easier. I will expand the communities knowledge of these devices to make it easier for everyone to vote.

Each year more seasoned election workers step away. I will engage citizenry to expand our election worker database. I will also work with schools, churches, and other community partners to engage voters and our customers early and often on the services we provide.

It should never take 2 hours to vote. Improving our systems To have the most effcient and secure technology is paramount. Currently, all activities at our offices are walk-in focused. I would expand our appointment and drop off services, and explore expanding our dealer services to include mobile/ field support.
